The action is set in the early 20th century. The film is made up of six sequences. In the first, Michal, young man who came from Poland to Germany, enrolls in a course on how to behave in social situations and on etiquette. Then, he goes to work for a man who owns a carousel and who loves to chase other women. In the next sequence, Michal meets the divorced landlady, Mrs. Luther, and goes through a whole lot of erotic experiences. When he escapes exhausted from his landlady, he starts working in a mine and visits brothels on a regular basis. He looks on women in a totally cynical manner. However, his persistent wandering must finally result in a true love.

Silesian-born Jörg and his friend Andreas return after years to visit their old pals Gienek and Jerzy in an Upper Silesian village - Jörg arrives full with gifts, convinced that life in Poland must still be hard. To his surprise, he discovers that much has changed, and Poland is no longer the poor country he remembered.

Set in the 1960s, in a small town in Poland. After the destruction of an old mill, an impersonated devil appears in its place. The local leader and priest try to make him go away by different ways.

Katowice, the second half of the 1980s. All the inhabitants of the city watch the movie "The Sinful Life of Franciszek Buła" on television, and two policemen, Karlik and Lucek, patrol empty streets. They reach a TV lounge where they catch two burglars red-handed. Unfortunately, they inadvertently look at the screen and succumb to the magic of the film. Meanwhile, the thieves, taking advantage of their inattention, run away. Police officers pay for staring by losing their job. Just like the heroes of the film, they decide to form a traveling troupe of singers and comedians, calling it "Our Kara".

A movie director finds himself in a mid-life crisis

The story of the residents of a tenement house on Złota Street in Warsaw from 1945 to 1980.

Janosik was a television series that aired in Poland in 1974. It is about a famous Polish highlander outlaw who in folk legends steals money and goods from the rich and helps out the poor. The series was directed by Jerzy Passendorfer. There are 13 1-hour episodes.

The story stretches from 1863 to 1945. Its main characters are representatives of the Pasternik family, who live in the fictional village of Wielowice near Pszczyna. The protagonist of the first three episodes is Franciszek Pasternik, the following parts tell about the fate of his many children and even more grandchildren. The viewer follows their history against the backdrop of great changes and historical events that influenced the lives of Silesian Poles. So there is the Kulturkampf, Prussian rugi, the revolution of 1905, World War I and the Silesian Uprisings.
