The story of Doctor Čeněk Dobešek - a decent, kind man who seems almost out of place in today’s world. Though he’s a conscientious physician, he hasn’t learned to exploit his calling for personal gain the way many of his former classmates or hospital colleagues do. Happily settled in a modest two-room apartment with his lovely wife Zuzana and his dreadful mother-in-law Marie Košvancová, Čeněk cheerfully drops everything at any hour to answer the doorbell and tend to whoever needs him. His humble generosity scandalizes Marie, who’d much rather have a “real” Doctor as a son-in-law: someone famous, wealthy, and who never works for free, unlike Čeněk.

A fictional story of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's stay in Prague. The film, in no case, claims any historical facts. It only tries to evoke the spirit of that time by connecting Mozart's music with the architecture of Prague and by pointing up the changes in Prague during Mozart's two-hundred absence in the Czech metropolis.

When the princess rejected the Lord of Evil Water, she had no idea how cruel his revenge would be. A cheerful fairy tale about a devil who went among people to find a sinner and found much more. This cheerful fairy tale tells the story of how two young devils, Drmáš and Mezoul, took their final devil exams, but neither of them wanted to finish first! The reward for the winner was to be Lucifer's unpleasant daughter Lucinda. However, the fairy tale is not only about devilish marriage, but also about Drmáš's love for an earthly girl and the fact that, without any of us realizing it, hell is sometimes "devilishly" close!

Occupied by family problems, a 13 year old Vojto takes every responsibility around the house. One day while on a train to school, he sees this girl, Kajka, and falls madly in love with her. Despite his busy life, he decides to win her heart by any means possible.

A modern fairy tale that combines fairy tale elements with contemporary realities and is also a film about film. The story takes place in a Barrandov studio. Nine-year-old Marushka reads a term paper at school about how she went on a field trip to the film studios with her class and how she met a "real" black priest, who was, however, terribly forgetful. She and her friend Honzik got their hands on his magic sphere, which made all sorts of incredible things happen...
