The president of Venezuela, Commander Hugo Chávez Frías, raised himself as a champion of Latin American and universal justice. Using the resources of the Venezuelan state in an indiscriminate and criminal manner, he was promoted as the great defender of the people and he passed himself off as the great promoter of Simon Bolivar's dream of integration.
