Rašín

The story of a man who was able to realize the dream of an independent state despite the monarchy and attempts to take refuge under the wings of Tsarist Russia, and who also wrote the text of the first law of the newly formed Czechoslovakia. In the film, Kramář and Rašín clash in opinion, yet both meet in the same prison cell and eventually in the government of the newly formed republic. Tomáš Garrique Masaryk and Edvard Beneš are most often associated with it, while other, no less important personalities remain in their shadow.
