Commissioner Michal Bříza was shot in the head in 1995 during a crackdown on the Russian-speaking mafia. As a result of his injuries, he fell into a coma, from which he woke up twenty years later in 2015, to the time of touch phones, Facebook, navigation, DNA tests and also the ubiquitous smoking bans.
