Johannes Becker is doing his best to get by as a small farmer. But nowadays that is almost impossible, and the debt is growing over his head. The old combine is broken and he has no money for spare parts. Then the wastewater association is demanding almost 10,000 euros, which has accrued in recent years. The attempt to ask the mayor, his wife, who is separated from him, for help fails because of her possibilities.
