A danger to society? Friedhelm Knecht has a human life on his conscience. Dr. Robert Siedler has to decide whether the exalcoholic can be rehabilitated. The prognosis is positive, Knecht is released. A murder occurs a short time later. For the public and for the victim's husband, one thing is certain: the perpetrator is a servant. Robert has to keep a clear head for another case: A schoolgirl claims to have stabbed a dealer under the influence of drugs.
