A train arrives at a small station, Scroop, in which a sick old man travels. He almost loses his memory, he does not remember where or why he was going, where he sent two very valuable boxes. The railwaymen take him off the train, put him in the hotel in Beeston and invite a doctor who is the first to recognize the famous artist Simon Kendl.
