Dog Work

Police captain and dog handler Ilya Smagin (Vladimir Epifantsev), during a special operation to neutralize a gang of drug dealers, loses his partner and faithful friend, the dog Ragday. Smagin is grieving over the loss, but, despite the persuasions of his colleagues and his artist wife Tony (Irina Lachina), he is in no hurry to take on a new dog. Ragday was the best "search engine" of the canine service, and Smagin does not believe that he will ever be able to find a dog equal to him. However, when Ilya already decides to start looking for a new dog, fate presents him with an unexpected gift.
