Three people, at various stages of their life, talk about being a twin, either a certainty or an assumption, of someone who had died in utero. Each of the three deals with that loss in a different way, but the common feeling is a sense of loss and/or a sense of searching for that something missing. The knowledge of that physical loss ends up answering what were many questions up to that point.
