Maria is a real old—school math teacher, the last "Teacher of the Year of the USSR", who wouldn't dare to make a sound in her class without permission. But at home, the pointer has no power: because of the conflict, the woman does not communicate with either her daughter or her granddaughter, 16-year-old Nastya. It's hard for three generations so different to find a common language.
