1990s. A prosecutor’s office investigator in the Smolensk region receives a “black mark” from the boss of a local organized crime group. From that moment, he becomes a target. Igor Sazonov, a friend of Kirsanov who has become a prosecutor in the Yaroslavl region, suggests that Alexey move there with his wife Oksana to get away from the gangsters.
