USSR, late 1970s. The son of a functionary, Igor Zorin, joins the organizing committee of the 1980 Olympics, where he will work under the strict and principled Irina Svetlova. They will have to face all the difficulties of organizing a large-scale sporting event and witness not only the Olympics, but also political games.
