The Shipwreck

The sea has the power to unite, but also the cruelty to separate people forever. A country like Greece, with the sea and boat trips written in its DNA from ancient times to the present day, has unfortunately experienced many maritime tragedies, with numerous victims. People who unsuspectingly embarked on a journey that was destined to never end in a port. Our relationship with the sea is organic and every shipwreck, no matter how many years pass, will always have the power to shock us. One of these water tragedies that marked the history of modern Greece, happened on December 8, 1966 and is still known as "The shipwreck in Falconera".
