Lola and Cuau, a progressive middle-class pair, and Iñigo and Majo, a young conservative, well-heeled duo, turn to artificial insemination as a last resort to have children. In a madcap twist based on actual events, a mix-up at the clinic results in each mom-to-be carrying the other one's baby.

After getting pregnant from a one-night stand, a single woman leans on her married best friend and mother of two to guide her through gestation and beyond.

Mikel, a young cook, meets with his father Juan, who had been missing for 30 years. While trying to keep his restaurant afloat, Mikel has to take care of crazed Juan, a former cook who suffers from a mental condition that prevents him from recognizing neither the aforementioned time gap nor his son Mikel.
