Paola is about to turn eighteen and for the past four years she has lived in a community, far from her family. She cannot return home, nor does she want to. The daughter of a Muslim woman and a farmer, she is torn between two very different cultures. Now, after a long period of suffering, she is forced to face all the difficulties tied to the end of her adolescence and her coming of age.
