In August 2020, the Olympic synchronized swimmer Ona Carbonell became a mother for the first time, an experience that changed her life from one day to the next. At the same time, Ella Ona embarked on the ambitious plan to compete in the Tokyo Games. The documentary follows Ona through those intense 11 months, during which she has to push the limits to extraordinary levels both physically and emotionally. Following Ona closely, we share her daily routines and challenges, from breastfeeding and playing with her son Kai de Ella to intense training sessions with the Spanish National Team.
