Ready Player One

In 2045, people seek escape from their harsh lives by assuming avatars in a virtual world called OASIS. When the game's eccentric founder leaves his immense fortune and total control over the OASIS to the winner of a three-part puzzle contest he has designed, a young player named Wade tries his hand at the reality-bending treasure hunt. Together Wade and his friends, known as the "High Five," attempt to conquer the game.
