The Oath

Angelos Raptis, a highly esteemed general surgeon and renowned scientist in Greece, is happily married to lawyer Iro Anagnostopoulou. Together, they have a brilliant daughter named Melina. However, tragedy strikes on the night of Angelos' birthday while he is on duty. He is killed in a car accident, leaving his wife and daughter stranded and helpless on the road for several hours. Devastated by the loss of his family and faith, Angelos becomes disillusioned and begins to reject both reality and life.
