NDR Story

NDR Story is NDR's socio-political documentary format with the slogan “City. Country. Relevant.” It reports on issues that concern and move local people. For NDR Story, authors conduct open-ended research and tell emotional and vivid stories about social injustices and socio-political challenges. The documentaries offer food for thought and new perspectives. The documentaries focus on social and political topics. The topics are not only characteristic of the NDR broadcasting area of Lower Saxony, Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, but also appeal to people outside the broadcasting area. In February 2024, the series was renamed from 45 Min to NDR Story.
