One child dies of leukemia in hospital. Another has cancerous symptoms. Kenich, president of a multinational chemical company, reveals to the board that the company's most lucrative formulation causes cancerous side effects in young children. Dora, separated from Vassos, an incompatible ideological journalist, now living on the sidelines decommissioned and intoxicated, lives alone with her nine-year-old boyfriend.
