In the scripted reality format "Lenßen übernimmt" (Lenßen Takes Over), lawyer Ingo Lenßen wants to stand up for the rights of citizens who cannot afford legal assistance. The TV lawyer wants to use his knowledge and expertise to help people who need immediate help. Lenßen is accompanied by assistant Sarah Grüner and Ben Handke, who replaces John Davis from season 1. Together, the aim is to guide people out of difficult circumstances and back onto an orderly path that will enable them to face the rest of their lives with hope.
