Paranoia, confusion, and anger start to color all that he knows to be true, and as reality blurs with his subconscious fears, an alternate world propelled by violence and mistrust begins to take over. MY FRIENDS TOLD ME ABOUT YOU is a surrealist examination of the unstable nature of fame and the incredible cost of celebrity and places the vicissitudes of a drug dealer's paranoia against a twisted reality just beyond one's reach.
