The Titov family - Nadia, Lyova and their son Kostya - moves from Moscow to their hometown of Izluchinsk to start a new life. However, the rosy plans were not destined to come true. The Titovs immediately find themselves in the thick of things in a small town. At night, a ferryman is killed on the ferry. And they accuse him of murdering... Nadya. After leaving prison, she realizes that she no longer has any former life. Everyone in town, including her own son, hates her. And the only job that Nadia can now be offered is to become a ferryman on the very ship that broke her whole life.
