Financed with the loan of a gangster; Felino, his girlfriend and his two friends, they film their debut "Opera prima", which is rejected from all the important festivals. Felino convinces his crew to reprint the credits and change the title to make it look as if Tomas Guevara, a prestigious filmmaker who has been retired for years, made it. The film is accepted at Festivbercine, the most important film festival in Iberoamerica, which upon learning of the return of legendary director Guevara prepares a great celebration to receive it. The four protagonists face multiple misadventures to persuade Guevara to appear at the festival.
