Kurdish refugee Renas lives in remote northern Norway, awaiting his bride, Fermesk. Though they’ve never met, they fell in love through photos and calls, with their families arranging a wedding in Iraq. However, when Fermesk arrives, reality clashes with expectation—neither looks like their idealized photos. Fermesk is much larger, and Renas isn’t as handsome as she imagined.
