The customs officer Zaluskovski (Uwe Friederichsen) becomes the head of department and first has to fight his way through the entire emerging jungle of EU customs regulations. His squad doesn't cut a great figure at first. His continuity and willingness to take on all departments proves him right and he is slowly getting success from episode to episode.
