Glück auf vier Rädern

After a festive last lecture and academic emeritus celebration as psychology professor in Munich, Friedrich Sibelius finds his wife Anna plans to keep him occupied closer to home, notably with their beloved grandchildren and a salsa course with her. Their divorce lawyer son Thomas needs Friedrich's help as court expert and babysitter for his newborn. Future daughter in law Sylvia casts him as character actor in one of her plays. Friedrich managed putting off getting a driver's license for 40 years, but his objections to the course booked by his wife melt away after meeting foxy instructor Eva, whom he fancies enough to flunk to exam just to resume the course with her. A mild injury on family drive excursion finally leads to a truth time rendezvous with Eva.
