Engrenages

French police series in which a public prosecutor, an investigating judge and a no-nonsense police chief have to deal with political intrigue. Public prosecutor Pierre Clement works closely with the no-nonsense police chief Laure Berthaud and investigating judge François Roban. In the criminal world of Paris, full of drugs and prostitution, they are forced to navigate a web of political affairs during their work. The different members of the investigation team also have a different vision of justice and each of them struggles with their own personal demons.
