Henrik Bode is a lifeguard and family man. When his childhood friend Lutz came back into his life, Bode's petty-bourgeois happiness was shaken. Lutz used to be his lover. In order not to endanger his swimming career, Henrik separated from Lutz at that time and only secretly lived out his homosexuality. By chance, Henrik's wife Betta and the almost adult son Sebastian found out about Henrik's double life. While Sebastian turns away full of hatred, Betta is desperately looking for a way to keep the family together.
