Das verlorene Paradies

Nitschke, councilor of commerce, enjoys the absence of his wife and daughter on vacation. His wife becomes suspicious during a phone call and announces her early return home; the next day, Nitschke was broken into. The police stupidly mistake the torn-off-looking straw widower Nitschke for the burglar; Nitschke's friend, who joins them, denies him because he was denied on the phone the day before.
