Portugal, XVI century, the young King Sebastián is in a sea of doubts. Contrary to the advice of his family and the nobility, he dreams of marching to Morocco to fight and follow the glorious ways of his ancestors. The film revolves around the myth of this king Sebastián, the story of a king killed in the battle of Alcazarquibir at the hands of the Spanish troops. After his death, Portugal fell into the hands of Spain and remained awaiting his return, which never happened. Legend has it that he would return to save humanity from evil on a hazy morning atop a white horse.
