Prison director Ella Jansen can be exchanged in the event of a hostage situation in her institution. After an hour she has the double murderer, who has been sentenced to life imprisonment, so far that he wants to give up. It is agreed that Ella will take the man back to his cell. At the same moment the police start a large-scale SEK operation. The hostage-taker feels deceived and loses his nerve.
