Spain in the 16th century. Don Rodrigo, a proud nobleman, loves the enchanting Doña Proëza. The beautiful woman is married to the strict judge Don Pelayo, whose only law is faith. The passion that arose between Rodrigo and Proëza is so strong that they are capable of anything. So Rodrigo kidnaps his beloved.
