La folie du doute

Engineer Jean Villars is sickly jealous of his young wife whom he adores. Having lost this one in a railway accident, he comes, under the influence of pain, to suspect his boss and to doubt the paternity of his daughter, to the point that he has to be locked up. Ten years later, calmed down, he again opens his arms to his child.
