The Last Samurai

Former US Army Captain, Nathan Algren, is a bitter alcoholic, traumatized by the horrors he committed during the American Indian Wars. Sent on a mission to destroy the ancient Samurai culture, in preparation for a more Westernized and trade-friendly government, Nathan learns to embrace the culture when he is captured in battle.
