In Japan, crime rates among seventeen years old high school students are increasing year by year, and “seventeen years old” are often referred to as the most difficult age group to deal with. In the drama, Megumi (Miki Nakatani) tries to approach the psycological and psychiatric problems that these seventeen years old have from a school counselar’s point of view. Through dealing with these high school girls, Megumi learns what the meaning of “life” to herself and to the high school girls.
