On the day when Andrzej graduates from the police school and obtains his officer skills, his father, an elderly police leader, is killed. Andrzej, assigned to the investigative brigade, tries to find the murderer, who turns out to be a member of an international group of money counterfeiters. The mysterious leader resorts to help innocent and having nothing to do with Janina's villains. By blackmail, he forces her to play the role of Andrzej's love and to extract the necessary information from him. But the girl really falls in love and he falls in love with her.
