Two young people, Irena and Julian, meet each other at the street market. It's love at first sight: They spend the night together and marry a week later. The parents are shocked, but the young lovers are happy and soon Irena becomes pregnant. A horrible accident destroys their happiness: Julian dies in a plane crash... After some time passes, Irena suddenly gets a call: Some stranger called Dennis wants to give her a lot of money because, as he says, he is "a friend of Julian, and Julian once saved his live". Irena meets him and feels attracted to this man. They slowly get closer and fall in love. Yet Dennis has a secret which he doesn't dare to reveal to Irena...
