When her parents Sandra and Klaus get divorced, Pia Franke gets to know that Klaus was not her genetic father, he only was to her brother Jan. Pia is very disappointed and wants to know from her mother who her real father was. Sandra tells her: Pia's real father was an Irish singer, Sean O'Hara, whom Sandra fell in love with but who didn't stay very long with her. Without letting her mother know, Pia escapes from hometown Hamburg, Germany to Galway, Ireland where she wants to look for Sean. When Sandra gets to know, she Jan with her and follows Pia to Ireland. Both, Pia and Sandra fall in love there and the men they fall for shall change their lives forever.
