The first part ended with a wedding, and it seemed that after the birth of little Terinka, happiness would settle permanently in the fairy-tale mill. However, the lord does not like this one bit, who has not stopped thinking about the lovely Eliška. He devises a ruse with his devoted servant Žán and sends Jindřich to war against the Turk. However, the lord of the castle naively believes that this opens the way to the mill and has won Eliška. But, as is well known, clever and cheerful ghosts live in the mill - a devil with a water spirit - and they will certainly help Eliška...
