Remi Bonnet, pianist, suddenly decides to abandon his classical music studies to devote himself to the music he aspires to: salsa. The virtuoso tries as quickly as possible to join a Cuban group, but realizes that he is too light-skinned to be credible. Determined, he transforms himself and passes for a Cuban.
