María Celeste was a sweet and cheerful young woman who has been raised by Martirio Paniagua, a poor but honest woman. María Celeste is convinced that Martirio is her mother, but she is wrong; she is, in fact, the daughter of a young millionaire who was disinherited in the seventies for marrying a “rocker” musician.
