In the small town near Skilteskoven, everything is the same. But not much longer! Christmas peace is threatened by the unscrupulous investor Wilhelm Kayser. He has moved into the old mill and has big plans to transform the sailor Otto’s Christmas tree forest into a “Christmasland” with funfair and sausage stalls. Of course, Otto, the elves and all the others in town don't think this is a good idea. Will Kayser's plan succeed? Will the entire forest be lit by neon signs or disappear in garbage and artificial snow? Will the elves drown in ketchup and mustard?
