Caro Maestro

Stefano Giusti, a bus driver, applies to the School District Office and lands a substitute teaching position at the very elementary school he attended as a child, in Forte dei Marmi. He is taken in by his eccentric Aunt Ottilia, and from the moment he steps up to the teacher’s desk, he forms a very strong bond of understanding with his students, helping each child overcome their problems. Various love stories unfold, some ending more happily than others, particularly the reunion of Stefano and Elisa—a teacher and the school’s principal, respectively—who, after having been engaged as children, find each other again after years apart. Following various twists and turns, they crown their love with marriage and the birth of their son, Luca.
