L'innocent

Nicolas Moineau, simple-minded, sells violets at the door of a dance hall where drugs are commonly sold. The boss, Grégor, is also an organized gang leader and he hires Nicolas. As the latter is incredibly naive, he becomes the plaything of Gregor who uses him for ugly chores. Nicolas is thus involved in a murder and a case of kidnapping of children. He narrowly avoids, without knowing it, complications with the police. While the latter unmasks and ruins Gregor's businesses, Nicolas marries his fiancée Lisette.
