Die Anrheiner

The people who live in the fictional “Veedel” district of Cologne, right on the Rhine, are called the Anrheiner. As in the real city, not all people in the Veedel come from Cologne. The quarter is as multicultural as the city and yet as unmistakably individual as the whole region. The stories of the Anrheiner speak to the people in North Rhine-Westphalia - almost superfluous to say that all the characters speak their dialect
