After a brave act of selflessness during a raging fire in the plastic products company "K. Dervisis and Co.", the conscientious but naive debt collector, Xenophon Tsigenes, rescues the firm's precious accounting records. However, unbeknownst to him, Xenophon has also salvaged a small pack of compromising love letters, which, in due time, will lead to an unexpected discovery, and a long-standing conspiracy behind everyone's backs. Now, Xenophon finds himself before a pressing dilemma. Will he do the right thing?
