Jeunes filles à marier

Simone and Yahne, their studies finished, go out in the world. Simone returns to her rich mother who wants to see her married as soon as possible and Yahne considers a music-hall career. The pair meets a few years later at a hotel in Cannes where they learn that Yahne's rich American uncle is about to visit her in France. She is determined to hide her profession from him, for fear that he will cut her monthly allowance. Simone thus takes her place. Meanwhile, the uncle swaps his identity with his secretary in order to avoid unwanted solicitors.
