It all begins on an early Sunday morning, when the clerk Primula Rask on her way to work on a bicycle is hit by a young man who is out riding with his newcomer. It turns out that Primula is the illegitimate daughter of department store director Theodor Falk. She falls in love with the young man, and he also falls in love with her, and then the action otherwise picks up speed, but everything ends as it should in a folk comedy.
